The REACH Complex

The REACH Complex provides performing arts instruction, technical training in entertainment production, career exploration, and leadership development to Metro Atlanta's young people, ages 7-21, and adults regardless of their ability to pay. Highly skilled and experienced entertainment industry professionals (musicians, vocal instructors, choreographers, engineers, stylists, and art directors) offer classes 2-3 times a week to many participants who might not ordinarily receive such exposure and instruction. Industry forums that feature experienced arts educators and entertainment professionals complement the regularly scheduled instructional programming.

Established guidelines are used to determine a participant's financial need for program participation, with 50% of program enrollment dedicated to teens of low income, single-parent households. All teen participants, regardless of financial circumstances, are provided services with the understanding and commitment that a parent or legal guardian agrees to volunteer 1 to 3 hours per week in promoting the mission of The REACH Complex. Adult participants who require financial assistance will be granted such assistance on a first-come/first-served basis, contingent upon funding availability.

In addition to our educational and training goals, the program seeks to nurture diverse participants, particularly young people, in developing positive self images, recognizing that teens who are exposed to positive alternatives and knowledge of self are more likely to become active and engaged adult citizens, positive role models for other youth, and assets to the communities in which they live.
